announcing the aura waitlist

read time:4 min

today, we are opening the waitlist for aura, our ai-native browser.

if you live inside your browser for work, aura is for you: a focused environment with built-in automation, local-first intelligence, and fewer reasons to context-switch.

the early releases will go to people and teams who are comfortable with sharp edges and shipping feedback. if that is you, the waitlist is open.

why a new browser

today, we are opening the waitlist for aura, our ai-native browser.

browsers have not changed in a meaningful way since the tab was invented. the ai that has been added in recent years is grafted on — a sidebar here, a right-click menu there. the underlying model is still: you navigate, you read, you do the work.

we built aura because we believe the browser should be a participant in your work, not just a surface for it.

what aura does

aura gives you a browser with built-in automation, on-device intelligence, and a context engine that remembers what you are working on.

it can read the page you are on, take notes, fill in forms, draft a summary, or kick off a workflow — all from a single prompt, without a plugin.

everything runs locally by default. your browsing data, your prompts, and your automation history do not leave your machine unless you choose to sync them.

joining the waitlist

the early releases will go to people and teams who are comfortable with sharp edges and shipping feedback. if that is you, the waitlist is open.

we are starting with a small cohort of builders, researchers, and teams who do a lot of their thinking inside a browser. we want to learn from how you use it before we open it up wider.

you can join the waitlist at aura.thebuilder.company. we will reach out directly when your spot is ready.
